Lanna CC will be holding their annual general meeting at UN Irish Pub on 1st February 2019 at 6 pm when the club hopes to welcome all our new players and to welcome back existing members.
We are hoping to make this an enjoyable social event for everybody as well as to hold important elections for places on the club’s committee. Lanna recently enjoyed a prestigious fixture against MCC and also faced a side from Singapore High Commission on the same weekend. MCC were impressed with the CMSCA junior coaching program and money was raised to support junior cricket which is an important part of the Lanna’s philosophy.
The club’s plans for the rest of the season will be discussed and these include a full program of league, friendly and touring matches and will see full support for junior and ladies cricket. Lanna won the Bowl in the 2018 Chiang Mai Sixes and will be supporting the event again this April and the team started the new year with a comprehensive victory over the defending league champions.
All members are encouraged to put their names forward for any of the positions on the committee. The club’s officers include Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer as well as general positions on the committee and the club is always looking for help and support as we attempt to put on an enjoyable cricket season for all players and spectators.
